Geotermia

Geotermia is a Spanish-language professional journal that provides technical and news articles about geothermal energy research, development, and utilization. Geotermia has been published since 1985 by the Gerencia de Proyectos Geotermoeléctricos, the geothermal division of Mexico's Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE). The last printed issue of Geotermia was issued in July 2001 (Vol. 16, Nos. 1-3). Publication resumed with Volume 17, No. 1 (July-December 2004), but only in electronic format (PDF).

Geothermal Hot Line

The Geothermal Hot Line was published by the California Department of Conservation, Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources, in Sacramento, California, from January 1971 through December 1992 (with two additional issues in 1996). Contributors included David N. Anderson (editor, January 1971 through December 1975), Mel Schrecongost (editor, June 1976), A.D. Stockton (editor, October 1976 through March 1979), and Susan F. Hodgson (editor and writer, May 1979 through December 1992). All aspects of geothermal development were reported in this magazine. The publication schedule was always irregular. At first, only California news was included, along with a few stories from other U.S. states. International news was added in the 1980s and 1990s.
